BluOS® Wireless Music Streaming System Can Now Easily Integrate with Select Lutron Lighting Control Systems

New integration with lighting control leader brings a high-quality music experience to Lutron’s Caséta Pro, Radio RA2 Select, and Homeworks QS systems.

ISE 2018, AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, FEBRUARY 5, 2018Lenbrook International is announcing that its BluOS® wireless hi-res audio streaming technology can now be controlled from anywhere in the home through the Lutron® Caséta® Wireless Pro, RA2 Select, RadioRA® 2, and HomeWorks® QS systems, making it easier than ever for homeowners to access and control their music. Available later this month, the new BluOS software will give anyone in a connected home one-touch control of any BluOS enabled speaker or stereo system using select Lutron keypads, including the Pico® Wireless Remote Control for Audio.

Adding hi-res audio streaming and wireless multi-room control to Lutron lighting scenes is a perfect match for homeowners who are passionate about music. The Lutron Pico Wireless Remote Control for Audio lets you play, pause, skip tracks, adjust the volume, and toggle through BluOS presets, quickly and conveniently without using any other app or device. Whether you’re listening to coffeehouse jazz in the morning, or a dinner playlist with guests, your lighting and music can be combined together for a more intimate listening experience.

“We are trying to create a smarter, better-sounding, whole-home music experience,” said Andrew Haines, BluOS Product Manager. “Now with support for Lutron’s most popular lighting control systems, streaming services and personal music collections can be connected to a home network and seamlessly be controlled together with your lights. It’s two state-of-the-art smart home systems, working seamlessly together.”

When a BluOS enabled speaker or system is connected to a Lutron system, playback commands can be sent from a compatible Lutron keypad to any BluOS device inside the home. Both are easily set up by a professional installer and are designed to work with the leading home automation systems and alongside other smart home devices connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Custom installers, dealers, and homeowners can enjoy this integration later this month by upgrading to the next version of BluOS and downloading a BluOS CI setup utility. To download BluOS CI drivers and utilities, go to bluesound.com/downloads or visit nadelectronics.com and search for the BluOS enabled product.
